Last updated: 08/30/2022. UCU values the trust of our users who provide us with their personal data to use the UCU ONLINE platform. By means of this Privacy Policy, we describe what user data we (‘UCU-Online’) collect on this site (online.ucu.edu.ua, the Site) and how we use it, protecting its integrity, as well as how users can influence our usage of their data. This Privacy Policy (the Policy) has legal significance. Please read it carefully before starting to use the Site.
1. What information about you do we collect and why?
When you visit and register on the Site, fill in the details of your account (account), purchase access to an online course, we collect (may collect) the following data about you:
• First Name, Last Name;
• your username (nickname);
• user image;
• e-mail address;
• account access password;
• country or region of residence;

• year of birth;
• preferred language for using the Site;
• links to social networks;
• the highest level of education you’ve received;
• why you are interested in UCU online;
• how long you visit the Site in general and some pages of the Site in particular.

We use adequate technical means to protect your personal data from most threats.
Only a few authorized persons with special access rights have the access to your personal data. Despite it, we understand that it is impossible to avoid absolutely all the risks related to the leakage of personal data. In the event of any hacker attack on the Site, we cannot guarantee that your personal data will not be used for any illegal purposes by others.
You understand and agree that you are completely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access password on the Site and for any online course purchases made on the Site from your account.

Cookies are small, unique pieces of information that accumulate on your device during your activity in the Internet.
